It so hard to get used to life at home, once university has finished. its hard because i got to tell my parents where i am, where im going, when im going to be back, who im going with and the list goes on and on and.
Dont get my wrong, my parents are totally chilled out, i can do whatever i want to do just as long as i tell them. in a way i think that this is good, because God forbid if i was to have a accident or something terrible was to happen to me at least they would know who i was with and how to contact me.
Parents are wonderful beings, slightly crazy, mad, funny, not so funny, embarrasing, sweet, loving. there comes a time when children become the parents of our own parents. i think a few people will know what im on about here. for example my parents are both young, fit and healthy, work full time in their professions, which i have no doubt they act and behave like responsible adults. BUT at home its another story, someone once said to me when you reach 40+ you enter into a second youth. and my parents, bless them, have certainly entered their second youths.
when my girlfriends call me up, my mum thinks they have called to speak to her and i have to physically separate her from the fone! hehe. its cute though when she gets embarrassed about the things me and my gfs talk about especially lingerie, since one of my friends is getting married lingerie has become a huge topic in our circle!
aahh this was a total random post but i just felt like writing, i needed to let the words out…..
